Message i work for and with a SCCA PRO race/builders shop near my work (1/2 mile).
they run multiple Toyota Atlantics, F2000, and a bunch of other cars in other SCCA Pro Classes.

One of their customers is running a VG30DE motor (has 3 of them) fully(!) race prepped. Each engine costs 12 grand to assemble. Each engine goes WELL beyond what you would want to do with an engine. The engines are assembled locally, and are basically all internal mods which are extensive.
The guys who install his motors as needed don't know much about the motors other then they are putting out 380+bhp.

Externally, from what I could see, the heads are fully custom and are no where near stock. Rumors are the internals are lightened, stroked, and compression raised considerably.

So, how much many have you got?
